New CDs From the Princeton Record Exchange – Yeah!

While we were raising four kids my wife and I rarely spent money on ourselves. So when it came time that two oldest boys started to buy CDs,  I was thrilled when we found Tunes Used CD store in Marlton,N.J. At the time they had bins and bins of  cheap used CDs. Thanks to the fact that my taste was slightly different than their typical clientele my CD collection skyrocketed. Over the last month Peaceful Being the debut album from Richard Noll has been he soundtrack for many of my morning yoga routines and meditations. Overall, it has become one of my favorite albums. And listening to it has led to some of the most relaxing and calming meditations I have ever had. A Running Update -Sunday’s 4-Miler with Gazpacho

A Brief Running Update So I guess I should catch up before I write about this week’s runs. Last week I ran three times. Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Each run was 3.1 miles. Two were over the same course. So far this week I have also run three times.  The first run was a four-mile run on Sunday. The second was a 3.1 mile run on Tuesday and I ran another 3.1 on Thursday. New Challenge – The 30-day New Musician Challenge

The other day, one of the new challenges that I thought I could initiate was the following. The 30-day New Musician Challenge. A Trip to The Princeton Record Exchange Creates Eclectic Playlist

So a couple of Fridays ago, my wife went to the New Jersey State Archives to do some genealogical research. Since I did not have any research to do, I decided to head to the Princeton Record Exchange to spend my two-year old gift certificate. A Walk/Jog with a New Fitness Tracker and A New Album from Day Six!

So last week I was searching on Amazon for fitness trackers. The main problem was that I wanted a tracker that had a heart rate monitor and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I discovered the Letscom Smart Bracelet. It does just about everything my Fitbit Charge HR does (except count floors) and does it for around $ 27.00. Needless to say I purchased it and have been using it over the last several days. It seems to be working fairly well the step counts are consistent with the counts that I got from using the Fitbit. A Recap of what has been happening so far in 2018

Ok so I haven’t yet written a post in the new year, but that doesn’t mean that things haven’t been happening. The big news is that in  three days our third grandchild will be born. The first son of our third son, Peter and his wife Missy will be delivered via c-section on Wednesday morning. Now that should make babysitting very interesting! I actually won’t have to worry about babysitting for a newborn and a three-year plus old for a while.
